Love and Support for the Children of Nepal

The Children's Home in the Sano Khokana area of Kathmandu in Nepal supports orphaned and underprivileged children from all across Nepal -  ranging from infancy to high school age. This privately funded orphanage, established in 1989, attempts to provide the warmth of a family and infrastructure to its children (currently 53), setting them up for an independent future.

You Can Make a Difference. Let’s Make it Happen!

Educational Sponsorship

7 children need ongoing sponsorship for school - kindergarten through 12th grade! For as little as $50 a month - or $600 a year one child can attend school (tuition, lunch & bus).

Daily Necessities and Uniforms for School

The children have worn out some of their cloting, shoes and backpacks throughout the year. The cost for “replacement items” per student is $56.

Books Needed

Each year the students are required to purchase a full set of books in order to keep up with the curriculum. A complete book set cost $70 per student.

Social Connectivity

Connecting cultures from across the world; online calls between curious children of Nepal and America.

Completed Projects

New Bedding Needed

15 years old bedding needed to be replaced. The costs are $76 per mattress and $9 per blanket.

Office Upgrade

The Children’s Home office needs urgently a tech update. Ms. Saru is running the entire operation with outdated computer equipment. The cost for a new computer and printer/scanner is about $1,500.
