Become an Educational Sponsor

The majority of the kids at the Children’s Home receive education ranging from kindergarten until high school. When I visited last December, 34 of the total 41 children who received a primary school education attended the Asmita English School, a local school. These children go to school from 8 am until 4:30 pm.

The remaining 7 children at the Home did not have any sponsors and thus, were not able to attend school when I visited in 2022. In the meantime, thanks to generous donations, we were able to secure funding for the first year of school for all 7 children. See Updates. However, these children ultimately need long-term support until their graduation.

Currently, for approximately $50 a month - or $600 a year one child is able to attend the Asmita English School; this includes tuition, lunch and transportation. To send all 7 children to school for an entire year requires roughly $4,200.
